Replace Rubber Front Loading Washer
Jacob | 2024-09-24 09:51:28 |
And the feet are definitely rubber. Loading ANY rack, even with just 1 piece of gear, and then setting it on a leather chair like another reviewer did is just asking for trouble. Most chairs, especially nice leather ones, are sloped down towards the front. Anyway, great rack. Perfect for a guitarist with a minimalist setup. An extra plus, and the main reason I got it, is that the rails are recessed about an inch, so most knobs and switches aren't sticking out beyond the front edges. This gives mounted gear an extra measure of protection in case it topples over and falls on its face. ;) 5 |

The rubber washer makes these day in place better than some others I've used. Buy a couple of extra, you will need it sooner or later. 5 |

I think the rubber washer is the trick for making this a secure way to attach a carry strap 5 |

The rubber adaptor is the best thing about this adaptor. It doesn't happen often, but I have had metal stick to metal making it hard to unscrew. The rubber washer takes care of this issue. This all metal adaptor is a great tool for my studio and on the rare occasions I'm doing a gig with musicians. Because they're easy to lose, I'd consider getting more than one. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review] 5 |

To me, the mounting screw is installed backwards! The thin rubber washer can be removed, and the screw and bushing reversed. This way the binoculars will balance better on the tripod and the tripod and binoculars can be placed closer to you for better comfort 5 |

Why a soft release? From the moment I started using one years ago, I was hooked. I just find it much more comfortable than to go without one. Now on to this Leica model. Yes, I realize that these soft releases are laughably expensive for what they are. But the cheap ones I've used would always find a way to work themselves off, no matter if I used a rubber washer or not. So, unhappy with the performance of the bargain priced buttons I've always used in the past, I begrudgingly parted with my money and gave this OEM button a try on my M11. This is the first time I've had a soft release where I didn't immediately start wishing it were designed differently. The simple M is unobtrusive and sleek, not attention-grabbing and conspicuous. And it screwed on tightly and securely, and the knurling around the edge really makes a difference. Honestly, even without a rubber washer, it is tighter and more secure than any other brand I've tried. Ultimately, I finally feel like I've found my forever soft release. Thus, the high price might actually be a wash, considering my never-ending search among the cheaper brands. 5 |

I have only used a Black Rapid strap for the past few years and the rubber washer is starting to wear out from switching between the strap and tripod mount. I bought this to replace it and couldn't be happier. 5 |

Just the thing I needed to attach my gimbal head to my tripod. Yes, there is a rubber washer between the head and tripod but you can remove it if you think that contributes to instability. It's small so it is not obvious and precisely made. I highly recommend this adapter. 5 |

Nicely made connector. The screw does indeed come out, it is held in place by a rubber washer, so may not seem so. I use it to connect two Joby Gorilla arms to get a bit more height for my light when doing macro photography. 5 |

Much better than rubber washer type devices. I remove the strap all the time on my Le s Paul style guitar to fit it in it's case. These are easy to take on/off, very secure, and nicely priced. Have handed out several to friends, and they all love them too. (I should become a wholesaler.) 5 |
