Replace Usb Port On Flash Drive

This is a great USB flash drive. It fits in any port and does not bump into other things plugged in next to it. I dont need to use a short extension cable with this because it just fits. I set mine up so theyre bootable, and they are fast. They do get hot when they are running, and the metal body helps dissipate that heat. So far these seem more reliable than the other USB flash drives Ive had. Some of the ones Ive had have become corrupted especially if you have to read and write to it constantly, but these seem to be more stable. These work so well that Im going to get a few more.

This flash drive will be used in a CX-90, USB-C media port for music. Our Mazda won't arrive until next month, and I'm sure it'll give me lots of listening pleasure. New vehicles don't support a Classic iPod plug so I'm moving up to a smaller footprint for storage.

I really like the versatility of the different USB connections - you never know what port is going to be available when you need to quickly mount a flash drive. You have to fumble a little bit (not too bad) with the USB protectors to get it in the USB port, but at least they are attached, and can't be lost. It is a fast drive that fits easily in your pocket.

I'm using the usb3 flash drive on a usb 2 hub and it is 19 times faster than my usb2 flash drive on the same port. Amazing. The best part is that it works with all my equipment as if it was usb2. No hassles.

I was looking for a flash drive with a small physical size to plug into the USB port on my car stereo. I didn't want a standard size flash drive that would stick out from my stereo, and inevitably get broken off while I was reaching for the glove box. This was exactly what I was looking for. It's so small it just looks like it's part of the stereo, and 16GB is more than enough to hold my entire music collection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't tried Brother's original version (QL-1110NWB) of this label printer, only their newest one that just launched (QL-1110NWBc). So while I can't give a personal comparison between the two models, I thought it would be helpful to highlight the differences so that others can make a more informed decision on which to choose from, or whether they should upgrade. Inside the box, a paper insert states that although this model is similar to the original - even contains the same Quick Setup & User's Guides manuals - a few key changes have been made to the specifications. These include: improved coin cell battery cover, new security protocols, upgraded Bluetooth 5.2 version, and removal of USB port for USB flash drive. All of these changes sound pretty minor and not really a reason to have both models on the market, so I'm assuming this one will be phasing out the old. They also seem like improvements, minus the removal of the USB flash drive port, but I didn't have a need for it personally. In regards to my opinion on the actual product, I really love it! I'm still getting the hang of all the ways to use it (so far I've printed shipping labels, used it with 3rd party apps, and sticker labels for organization) and so far I'm pretty impressed by it! It's amazing to not have to deal with the installation and cost of ink, and once you get past the learning curve, the options are truly limitless. I think both hobbyists and businesses would be happy with this machine!

The flash drive loaded all of the info that I needed. It worked very well on my CPU that had a USB 3 port, but took a little longer to load on my CPU that only had a USB2 port--but it did work.

Update can be done without old CPU with USB flash drive only.

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

Lots of space for a USB drive! I really like the cover for the usb port, just pull it! I keep on losing the cover so this is perfect for me!
