I have been using an MXL-001 Universal shockmount for my MXL cube mic. It is a little more compact than the SHM you see here. However replacement bands are not available for the MXL, they do not offer them. They are fabric coated rubber (elastic) and do not last forever. Once they are blown out on the MXL that pricey mount is finished. So I decided to try this one at half the price, and guess what? SHM has some common sense! I also ordered a replacement pair of bands for it! It works the same, a little bigger but I don't care. If you want the MXL-001 forget about it. Just get this one. 5 |

This shock mount easily holds my rather heavy cube microphone. I have been using a MXL shockmount for it and it was fine but no replacement bands are available for it. It is also twice the price of this unit. Although this one is a little bulkier, it will perform as well and is very economical. No complaints! Plus replacement bands are made and offered for sale for it and I purchased a pair just for good measure at the same time so it's a win-win. 5 |

A band came loose from my Audio Technical shockmount and did an internet search for a replacement. There were a few choices and chose B&H. The online ordering was one of the smoothest I've encountered. The bands were delivered free and on schedule. These are the genuine Audio Technica bands for my shockmount and made a good choice for this order. It won't be my last! 5 |

I had been looking for replacement elastic bands for my Heil PRSMB shock mounts for my PR40 mics. Heil does not list them as replacement items, nor could I find a match on B&H's site. So I took a guess that these might be the proper replacements - and I guessed right. I now have all my PR40 mics again suspended in their frames. I had tried shortening the old bands, but that only held for a few weeks. These are working perfectly. 5 |
