Replacement Battery For Apc Surge Protector 6000

My APC 1500 surge protector with battery backup went defective. Self check test showed battery failure. Rather than replacing the entire expensive backup, I merely ordered this #124 replacement battery and replaced the original one for allot less cost. It now works good as new. Simply, side the old battery out and slide in the new one and that's it. I did not know replacement APC batteries were available until re-reading the APC instructions and by APC web site research.

This is the best battery backup/surge protector I've ever owned. APC seems to thought of everything you could want to know or do with this machine and provided it in a very easy to understand, easy to use way. It is worth the money.

Purchased my 2nd APC Surge protector and they work good

I couldn't find a replacement battery for my surge protector ANYWHERE in town, so I called the number on the battery. I was so surprised that I could get it replaced so easily, this battery had lasted 7 (seven) years! It was here SO FAST and the cost was much LESS than I ever thought it would be, I am a very happy customer!!

Honestly, how do you test a surge protector without putting equipment at risk? I've owned a few APC products and they have never let me down so I'm sort of trusting this one will work without fault too.
