Replacing Beats Headphone Pads

I use my Novation Impulse for making basic beats in Ableton Live and Garageband. I don't have a great frame of reference, but can say that this keyboard has done everything I've expected of it and more. I'm particularly pleased with the drum pads that come with Roll and Arp settings which have allowed me to make some pretty unique rhythmic patterns I otherwise would be lost making. Finally, this keyboard is very handsome. Backlit buttons and drum pads along with a sleek design allow my modest little operation to look nearly legit. Surely not a reason to buy a keyboard, but a bonus nonetheless.

What a deal, the software you get alone with this product is worth it. Tons of sound libraries and beats. The pads are just what I needed to lay the beats in my head down into my DAW. I found myself using the keyboard keys after awhile because they're so easy to press. LOVE THIS!

I got this for my computer and music making. I mainly got it cause it had pads for when I make beats and to make it easier for my percussion. It does that perfectly. Gives me the ability to do so many other things and connects right up with Logic. You do have to manually put some keys in place but it's not too hard. Either way, great buy and a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is so fast. Works great! I have three charging pads, this one beats them all.

I bought these headphones about 3 years ago to replace my 6 year old RH-200 (still working to this day) headphones I admit I was not sure these would top them because I absolutely love the 200's. Well I got them and put them on and listened to them and was completely blown away by them the bass is extreme the treble is crystal clear all while maintaining a close to zero curve. I have compared them to Sennheiser's, Bose, and the Beats. The closest second was the Sennheiser and of course although being more expensive than these the Beats were a waste of time. The build quality is exquisite and has a metal speaker cup as well as very different ear pads which really bold the sound in. aAt three years now the pads as always are showing age but I use them while doing work so they are exposed to sweat which really ages them quicker. The image is my headphones with 3 years on them.

I love these earpads replacing the crumbling original Sony pads perfectly on my MDR-V6 headphones & MDR-7506 headphones

I got tired of repeatedly replacing worn-out stock pads on my MDR-7506 phones. I thought the stock pads sounded fine and were perfectly comfortable, but they fell apart about once a year. These pads are better in every way. The only sonic difference is that they provide a bit more isolation than the Sony pads, which extends the bass response a little (or gives that illusion). Other than that, the sound has not changed. Durability seems to be top-notch (my main concern), and the comfort is actually better than the Sony pads, particularly if you use the phones in hot/sweaty environments. They're a lot easier to clean, too.

I have a decade old MDR-V6 SONY headphones. Replacing the old pads with Pearstone earpads made them like new. Could be a slight sonic difference compared to the old pads, but I just listen to music, so it didn't make any difference to me. The pads are more comfortable than the old ones.

The Senal SMH-1000-MK2is lightweight, the cushiony ear pads and headband should fit confortably to everyone. I like the fact that the bottom headband side that touches my head is made of leather / leatherette, which is easy to clean with a mild detergent or 50% (max solution) alchohol with a soft cloth, rather than the headphones that are made of a mesh material which accumulates dirt and body stuff.  Additionally, I recommend buying disposable headband and ear pad protectors such as the Auray Disposable Over-Ear Headphone Covers (50 Pairs, Black) https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1585973-REG/auray_hpc_45bk_disposable_headphone_cover_4_5.html for the ultimate in hygiene thus keeping that letter finish from deteriorating due to skin oils. Once I tried it, I can't go back. I love having those disposable pads on every single headphone I own! They also make in white. Performance: This headphone is excellent for critical listening for music and audio monitoring for video production. It has sufficient treble and the mid range boost vocals slightly and gently, just the right amount which is desired, thus maintaining the midrange mild, not piercing.  I tested this headphone listening to Metal, Techno, Classical and HipHop. It provides the adequate amount of bass in a way the studio meant to be heard, balancing all frequencies as a whole. If you're a bass head looking for bass shattering headphones, where 99% of BASS is all that matters before the actual rest of the music, this is not the product for you. Volume: With the impedance of 64 Ohms, even on a MacBook Air, it is loud enough. About 90db, which is loud enough . If you want louder, it will depend on the equipment you are using. Therefore, I'm pleased with this headphone. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review].

For an inexpensive closed back headphone this can't be beat. I use it when my normal selection of open cans will disturb the rest of the house. They need the aftermarket lamb skin pads, I am sure that will improve both comfort and sound over the vinly pads. Really like the modular cables it comes supplied with too.
