It was very easy to just plug in and go with the USB cord. No need to for calibration of any kind. It is also very versatile for the different uses that various gamers may have. The packaging was very easy to open and also designed for ease of product replacement in case of need for return. The only drawback is that there were no instructions included for programming the series of buttons on the base of the joystick.
