Reset A Windows Computer To Factory Settings

...once I figured it out. It needed to be reset to factory settings, but once done, all works as---or better than---expected. THANKS

Using Sonos for over 8 years never had one wear out. I've had to reset a couple back to factory settings but always get them working.

Love this monitor but the only negative is I cannot change the contrast because of the factory HDR settings. The windows task bar is a little gray vs black for my liking. Have not found a way to adjust it. The setting is disabled.

failed first install did a factory reset everything is fine

Good modem...a little difficult to setup (must reboot several times, and set to factory reset a couple of times) to obtain the IP address. Once that is obtained, then just works.

Fast delivery and easy set up... if there is an issue, just factory reset and it works no problem. Great product

I used to travel often and used the RavPower, however, most of the time it will not see any wifi networks unless you factory reset the device. My initial tests at home with the tplink 902AC saw much better visibilty of all wifi networks and once I figured out the odd menus had it up and running. it runs off a portable phone charger so can work in a coffee shop. So far so good. the real test will come when I get it to a hotel and see if it can see the wifi networks.

Came with old firmware so keep in mind that this needs to be added as a standalone mesh point, updated the firmware, then factory reset in order to migrate the meshpoint into your Amplifi router if that's how you are using it. Works as it should and provides the coverage that I need.

Purchased a used model. Everything but the power cord was inside the box. Luckily, I had a spare so no issue turning it on, but when I did the User/Password screen appeared instead of the Activation screen. The device was not obviously not reset to factory settings before repackaging. Went to Youtube (University) and found reset button is supposedly mounted on the board inside. Found it after removing the screws and cover. Pressed continuously for 30 seconds until one beep sounded. Released the button and after several minutes the Activation screen popped up on my SmartTV connected via hdmi cable to the NVR. Thereafter used the browser GUI interface to complete the setup. The device takes longer to start up compared to an older EV1 model, which has been running with no issues for the past five years. Also purchased a used HIK 8mp POE bullet camera model ds-2cd2083g2-iu which has stunning clarity and color. Takes time to sync with the NVR on startup but well worth the wait. Reported the factory reset issue to B&H. Saved half the cost, compared to buying new. Only minor blemishes on the outside. All good on the inside. HIK's iPhone app (iVMS4500) is the best there is for remote viewing. Others simply don't compare in ease of use.

Sound is great, had to factory reset when I got them as sound quantity was poor initially, not many bells and whistles but I really enjoy the sound quality coming out. I know they were panned by people who tested them but I only use them for listening to music and books and I'm very happy with them.
