I bought this because I love to solo backpack in remote areas. It is easy to setup (make sure you reset the defaults and upgrade the software before starting), and is packed with features. Good modem...a little difficult to setup (must reboot several times, and set to factory reset a couple of times) to obtain the IP address. Once that is obtained, then just works. 5 |

I used to travel often and used the RavPower, however, most of the time it will not see any wifi networks unless you factory reset the device. My initial tests at home with the tplink 902AC saw much better visibilty of all wifi networks and once I figured out the odd menus had it up and running. it runs off a portable phone charger so can work in a coffee shop. So far so good. the real test will come when I get it to a hotel and see if it can see the wifi networks. 5 |

Came with old firmware so keep in mind that this needs to be added as a standalone mesh point, updated the firmware, then factory reset in order to migrate the meshpoint into your Amplifi router if that's how you are using it. Works as it should and provides the coverage that I need. 5 |
