This printer has been around a year or so and the firmware updates are great and simple to preform. It is a solid(resin) preformer. Got it on sale and I do not see a better printer for the money. Uses open source software so you are not locked into any eco system. Any issues some have had in the past are fixed with the firmware updates. Mechanicaly sound and quiet. The wifi is a great addition; no usb sticks or cable needed. 5 |

This case is serious and held a Printrbot PLAY 3d printer, a 3DS 3d scanner, PLA spools and tools perfectly. Only reason I didn't pack the computer in there as well is that the PC was too wide. This case traveled through many flights within Peru and the sensitive 3d printing equipment remained intact and aligned. The grey color is awesome. At about $130 it was a great deal. Looks like luggage, performs like a titanium safe! The pinch and pluck foam worked really well and the inside of the case looks like it was custom made for my printer. It was very comfortable to roll around airports and streets. The handle extended to a nice height. I did not have to crouch. 5 |
