Resolve 80 A Studio Monitors Reviews

In the 80's when these first came out I was in my studio with a sales rep and he handed me a pair. I listened to my Urei 911 monitors, then these, handed them back and said I need a pair of these! This purchase (on sale) is replacing those 30 year onld cans and they sound marvelous. Flat and responsive, best on the market.

Fantastic for the studio monitors.

I don't use this card for importing video so I'm not sure if it's a good card for that, however, I can tell you this card works great for outputting 4K UHD from DaVinci Resolve to a 4K UHD monitor. I'm using it in a 2009 Mac Pro with an HP Z27s 4K UHD monitor. I was able to install it and use it no problem with DaVinci Resolve version 11 (12 is coming out soon). As for the noise (as other people have commented), it is noisy. I don't mind it as much as the other reviewers but it will make your computer sound like it's from the 80's. I'm a bit nostalgic for the 80's so I've learned to live with it.

Wish da vinci resolve could process 4:2:2 10bit without the need of studio. That's literally my only complaint and it's not Sony's fault.

I primarily use this for editing video while on the road. (Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve Studio) It handles SONY XAVCI 4K footage and like butter. Same thing with my Panasonic S1H HEVC at 6K, or a combination of both. I came from a Windows laptop and have no desire to go back. This just works!
