Restore Data Usb Flash Drive Mac

I have this set up to a Mac Mini via the provided USB-C cable. Despite this being a mechanical drive, the data transfer rates are fast - ~240MB/s. I use this as my primary storage for photographs, videos, music, etc. I was concerned about the drive noise, while it's not silent like my Samsung T7 scratch disk, it's not as loud as others have stated. It's fine when in use for me, most of the time it's sleeping.

I've tried several USB Flash Drives and this one is the best. I works very well to backup and restore my MacBook using Time Machine

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

I purchased this 3TB USB hard drive to backup my new MAC. The drive arrived in 2 days with free shipping. The drive was packed well and was in great condition. The drive is formatted for Mac and worked as soon as it was plugged in. The readme file on the drive explains other details and tips. I used the Mac app Time Machine to backup the Hard drive. No problems whatsoever. I like WD hard drives because they are very reliable and work properly right out of the box for both IOS and Windows.

Easy to use and durable USB flash drive

Easily reformatted for use with Mac OS X. Compact size and one USB cable for power and data makes it easily portable. Good capacity for price (as of this writing); but not designed to be a speed demon. Runs quiet and cool.

The speed of data transfer is amazing. The hard drive is compatible with both the Windows and Mac file system i.e. amazing. Plus it is very handy to carry.

This is really the best option for those editing on a Mac. No only do you get speeds that are slightly faster than the average SSD, you also get MUCH more storage capacity AND data protection. In my tests with the 20TB version I get about 505MB/s write and 580MB/s read. It's setup from the factory in Raid5 so you don't have to initialize the drives which saves time. In Raid 5 mode (best mode) you get 15TB of usable space as 5TB is setup for data protection. If one of the drives ever dies you slide it out and replace with a new one and you won't loose any data. I've been suggesting these to people for over a year now and I'm going to keep doing so.
