Retro Bit Generations Console Pre Loaded Gaming System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially, we got this SSD for our gaming PC but decided to try it in our video game console as well. The results have impressed us so much that we’re now planning to buy another 990 PRO to get the best possible experience from both devices. It was very easy to install the SSD, only a matter of minutes from start to finish. After we powered everything back up, the system immediately recognized the new drive. The console's speed test showed the drive running at 6561MB/s, which is more than 1000MB/s faster than the suggested minimum. The 990 PRO works perfectly inside our console, and the massive 2TB capacity lets us keep all our games at the ready, with room to spare. Games load up almost immediately, even a little quicker than when they’re installed on the system’s internal drive. All in all, we couldn’t be happier with the 990 PRO in our video game console. This is the SSD to get for all your gaming storage needs.

Bought this to play retro game consoles on a 4k TV. And it does an amazing job. I use svideo from the console into the kanex and output 720p over HDMI. This from my experience looks the best. My games look much better than just running through composite into the TV and there is no lag. From what I can tell anyway. Much better than the cheap converters on Amazon

I wish I had made this into a RAID before I loaded up with a new system. It does work great.

A bit expensive, but suits well the whole retro set (keyboard and mouse).

I bought this a while ago and it is still working perfectly. It has been great for my gaming console. Definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use it mostly to watch TV as most apps are pre loaded & connect it to my laptop when I need to get work done.. love it.. It was so easy to set up.the picture quality is good. Could ask for more at this price point.

I use as a small mixer for small gigs, and as a submixer for an integrated multi HH wirless system. Also for sub mix for live recording - pre console/DAW Small, inexpensive. XLR outputs which most boards in its calls do not have and reason I bought this over others. The one knob compressor is a nice feature for the dynamic mics to add gain without out board gear in performing applications. I wouldnt use it for recording as its preset ratios and threshold. Preamps are not as good as its higher end models, but at this price range and for live use in smaller club application its a perfect board with the versatility that surpasses others in its class. Use for performing as a solo or small combo and its perfect. use only as a pre sub to console without copression in recording application

I am not a techie so take what I have to say with a grain of salt. This hard drive was very easy to use, had all the necessary software pre-loaded into it and worked seamlessly for my first back up. I am giving the hard drive and unqualified thumbs up!

Incredible top of the line Mixer/CDJ. Bring a pre loaded stick and you're set for the night! One of the best controllers I have used!
