Retro Cameras For Sale

At first I wasn’t too keen on going to mirrorless cameras because I was happy with my DX system but when I saw this retro looking Nikon I just couldn’t resist. In my opinion, it just screams retro film and I absolutely love the styling and feel of it. I took it out as soon as it came in and tested it out. I’m pleased to report that it performs as good as it looks. Nikon really nailed it with this retro styled camera. I realize it is not for everyone, but I grew up with film cameras and love the look. 5 |

Bought this to retro fit my carry on roller case as a hard shell cameras travel case. It for nearly perfectly. I only had to shave a bit off on one side to make room for the latch mechanism. The precut cubes are easy to remove by gently pulling away from adjacent row and then sliding fingers down to break them free the rest of the way. If any cutting is necessary to make it fit, a razor blade or serrated kitchen knife works great with little mess. 5 |

Retro indeed! This film has a distinct retro feel to it & I couldn’t have been happier to have given it a try. The blacks are deep which makes gorgeous contrast. There is a perfect amount of grain to give it a vintage look. I had this developed along with other brands & it was the rollei retro that stood out from the crowd! Give it a try! I can’t wait to get my hands on more! 5 |

This thing is awesome. Love the clear and retro sound and the ability to take one speaker to other rooms. So Retro with a style of new wave abilities. Thumbs up. 5 |

This is my first DSLR, having shot film since 1980, and so far, I really like this camera. Since I have nearly zero experience with digital photography, the learning curve has been very steep for me, but as I gain some time and experience with it, I am finding that it just works as it should. I have collected lot of Nikon glass over the years, and this camera can use it all, even my pre-AI 300mm F4.5 telephoto lens. which mounts just fine. The price and availability of color films is what finally made me decide to try digital. Had Kodak Ektar 100 not more than doubled in price, I would still be happily shooting color film and avoiding digital altogether. I still shoot black and white film, and will continue to do so as long as it is available for sale. But for color, the Nikon D780 will be my main camera. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase, and I'm happy that there are still DSLR cameras available for sale. I'm not very excited about mirrorless cameras. I guess I'm just getting old. 5 |
