Retro Pro Mini Arcade Machine 240 Games List
Matthew | 2024-06-15 09:54:12 |
I have an arcade machine with over 30,000 games on it. It tears up normal hard drives, makes them run super hot and slow. I have had several hard drives go up on me because it is trying to access to much date. This SSD was expensive but worth every penny. The games run 10 times faster and this hard drive never heats up. If you have a MAME arcade machine this is the answer. 5 |

I picked up a 2023 M2 Pro Mac Mini 16G / 1 TB. I have been on Mac for what seems forever. I am moving from an 3.2 core i7 2018 Mac mini. First...free overnight shipping with signature. Perfect.... computer is not going to a porch pirate. The machine is awesome. I expect to hold on to this for several years. I perfect this form factor over the Mac Studio. This machine is so fast. it boots in about 15 seconds. The Apple Logo and progress bar at boot time, barely spend any time on screen before the desktop appears and the machine is up and running. There is nothing holding this Mac back. I am really pleased with it. B&H Photo... they are awesome and I have my eye on a few more things I need. No regrets!! 5 |

I film football games for a high school in Indianapolis, IN. We are playing in Lucas Oil Stadium and where you film from is very high up, but the location has a counter in front of it so it is difficult to set up a standard tripod and film. The Slik Mini-Pro V allows me to set up the camera on the counter and so the films will be smooth with no jerking due to trying to move the tripod, the Mini-Pro V will insure easy panning. The tripod is light weight, but strong enough to handle a Canon GL2. The only wish I have is it needs a carrying case with strap so you can easily carry it with all of the other equipment. 5 |

This Mini was purchased to replace a MacBook Pro--the last Intel generation. Hooked up to an Eizo monitor and it becomes a great little photography machine, with the Pro as a backup machine. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this monitor for basically every, school, media, and gaming. I have not had any issues or faults with it and I've had it for almost more then a year. The quality is amazing 4k 240hz is unheard of and is over kill for most graphics cards as most can't even make it to 240 frames in most AAA title games. (I use a 3080 ti fe) avg 240 to 160 in most games. Which is more then enough and future proof that what this monitor really sells me on. It having the curve I thought watching movies or any media on it would be annoying but I was wrong while sitting to the side you will lose the local dimming effect that makes the HDR on this monitor so dang good when in the center it looks fantastic and I don't have a reason to not sit at least near center anyway. It's been worth it 110% but it is pricey is the only con Id say for me. Other then that love this monitor. 5 |

I'm not building anything super fantastic in it as I'm building something for playing retro games with PC emu on Debian. Small and has a pleasing aesthetic, wish it came in beige but white will have to do. Basic build since it's for emulation, not virtualization: MSI H510I 8Gb 2x4Gb of 2666Mhz Corsair RAM Corsair SF450 Noctua NH-L9x65 (I like quiet) Pentium Gold G6405 (Pentium Case Sticker!) 5 |

I’m using specifically to play retro games. It was recommended on a MISTer subreddit. I can’t say how good it would be for more traditional uses, but its perfect for my gaming. 5 |
