This stand is awesome. I am probably going to buy another one. For the cost it does well. With the photox 36 inch softbox and the wescott ad400 this stand is wide enough to keep it from falling over. it leans a little bit because of the weight but i had some other stands from i think.... i think manfrotto that couldn't hold my set up but are more for speedlights. This stand is awesome. Compacts down, holds some pretty heavy lights for being portable 5 |

Do you need a 24 by 36 inch opaque black flag? Well here you go. Nothing to debate or be confused about. This blocks light well, as well as reflections with it's dark, matte finish. Perfect simple tool. 5 |

The is another outstanding paper from Epson. In roll form used on my 1800, beautiful 30 36 inch panos are created with great clarity. 5 |

Some large (36 inch) high resolution scanners will not save data to DVD-R, so I always bring these just in case. Highly reliable. 5 |

I am using the Logan Electric A7A with a copy stand, a 36 megapixel digital camera, and a macro lens to scan old 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 inch slides. A mask cut from black construction paper serves to block the portion of the 4 x 5 inch light table that lies outside the slide. The results are surprisingly good; and true scanners for 2-1/4 x 2-1/4 inch slides are both difficult to find and prohibitively expensive. It would be easy to scan 4 x 5 inch transparencies in the same way. 5 |

I wanted a material that would maintain a flat surface in the many orientations that it would be used, my sense was that the thicker the material the better for my purpose. I used sections of the TRANSLUM to cover two 24 by 36 inch flag scrims, and one 48 by 48 inch Mathews Road Rags scrim. Mostly, I am lighting the surfaces of the smaller 24 by 36 inch, scrims at a very acute angles to create even gradient lights which is reflected by the glossy subject products placed between the two scrims. The 48 by 48 inch scrim is held horizontally, and doesn't sag in this position (which was a key consideration in choosing the HEAVY Weight material. I recommend the product should you have a similar need. 5 |
