Reuse Laptop Computer Power Brick

I do really like this power brick because now I can charge my laptop and power some other devices alongside it. I think that Apple should make multiple port bricks in higher wattages too. This would allow more than one higher powered device to charge at a time. Some places like schools have few plugs, so the fewer the bricks the better.

These are great to allow you to reuse old MacBook power cords instead of throwing them out an buying whole new ones.

I love being able to reuse these batteries.

Put one of these “power strips” in your trunk or shop immediately for use when you need to have your phone charger or laptop computer connected when you’re also using power tools that throw huge (inductive) spikes back into the line. These are ruggedized and have the requisite rubber boots on each end to protect things should they fall off your workbench. Most cheaper devices are not as well designed or constructed as this one.

We don't currently own a field generator, so I purchased this voltage inverter to power a field teleprompter and, at times, a laptop computer. It does both perfectly well. Previously I had another battery unit that only came with a single proprietary rechargeable battery included with it. So, when the battery died it sent the crew scrambling to find an electrical outlet and run very long extension cords (which isn't always possible in the field). Since I already have multiple V-Mount batteries for cameras and LED lighting fixtures, I can just swap out batteries quickly if one dies. Great solution! No more production delays or concerns that the teleprompter won't make it through the day. I'm actually looking to purchase another one because there is only one outlet on the unit (the only downside). This would allow me to power both our teleprompter and laptop computer simultaneously in the field. I thought the unit was going to be made of 100% plastic per the picture, so I was surprised to find out that the body (other than the actual V-Mount plate) is made out of metal. Another positive! That being said, the unit isn't very heavy which is less load to pack and carry in the field (the weight will come from your V-Mount battery(s)). It's just what I was looking for!

Used as backup power supply and surge suppressor for computer, laptop, etc. Good investment for the money.

Wonderful little hub. It does a great job and the addition of an optional power brick makes it 5-star.

Apart from being two outlets short of our last backup brick this brick is silently protecting one of our computer and hard drives. The price as part of the daily deal was appreciated. Recommended.

The case is light and has soem outsid epockets for the brick and the mouse. My laptop is a thin 13.3' Yoga and it just fits. If it was a normal unit with a CD Drive and normal thinkness it would not fir.
