Reverse Image Search Android Gallery

I use this for Gallery Wraps.

I used my new Pico PK201 for a video installation in a gallery and my work looked great. The image was very sharp and clear projected on a wall 7 feet away, which was surprising to me. It is so light weight that I mounted it on a L-bracket with a square strip of velcro. I had the audio coming out of the dvd player, and I haven't bought the MicroSD Card yet, so I can't comment on how these work. One thing that is not great about it is the menu. Sometimes it is confusing to navigate.

I used it for a large positive transparency and a negative of the same image that will hang in a gallery window during my solo show. Printed effortlessly with a Canon 24 printer with the Glossy paper setting.

I will start with a comment on image quality. Being polite, I will say that if someone tells you this camera can only make small prints you can disregard this absolutely. Where I work the gallery curator is a fussy stickler who believes I can make gallery quality 12 by 16s with the E-3, and this camera has better IQ. Of course you can print larger; I refer to exacting standards. This is a great camera for some fairly common uses, particularly unobtrusive work with people up close and landscape and related work when weight matters. It can replace the classic camera for the first use, that is, it can replace rangefinders. Because you can hold it out just a bit from your chest it also has the TLR advantage that you don't have to put it between your face and your subjects'. I recently did a four day event and compared my E-3 at waist level with live view (a relatively unobtrusive DSLR) and the difference was clear. Indoors in fairly poor light (my recent situation) you either use flash or (as I did) focus manually. Mine is set up to magnify the image as soon as I touch the focus ring and to revert as I press the shutter. Works very well. This was with the 14-54mm II lens and Olympus adapter. Outdoors I took it alpine snowshoeing and really noticed the difference the day it snowed and I took my weather-sealed E-3 instead, even though I took the same lens. (To keep weight down with two cameras I'd been using the 50mm f/2 on the E-3). You wouldn't think it would matter but it does. The days I took the E-P1 it was clear in the snowing mountains - as bright as you can get - and I didn't have trouble seeing the image. Moreover the AF works just fine in good light. You wouldn't use this camera if you wanted to do sports or other work needing really fast AF nor if you wanted good AF in lower light. However, I am hooked and looking forward to the high end mFT more than I am the E-3's successor.

This is my second C920s webcam. It has great features and a beautiful image. It's basically plug & play right out of the box, with one major exception. I immediately realized that the image is reversed upon plugging the webcam in. Why the default image is reversed kind of blows my mind. There were no directions on how to reverse the image. I went on the Logitech website and searched for a solution. Nada. I searched Google, too. All the solutions were complicated and convoluted. I ended up downloading 2 or 3 programs that didn't solve my problem. Since this is my second C920s, I went back to my first installation of this webcam on my other PC. The image was right on. So, I checked and I have a program called Logitech Capture. I checked its settings, and sure enough, under the Source 1 settings there's an Advanced Settings slider. Sliding that to On opens up another set of settings. One of them is horizontally flip source. Checking that check box flips the image to the proper point of view. Why Logitech would reverse the default image is beyond me. And, why they don't provide instructions on how to flip the image is crazy. Anyway, just downloading this simple (free) program from the Logitech website solves the issue. All is well. I'm very happy with the webcam now.

While I can't attest to the unit's reliability yet, I can say the image shows up nicely on my Android phone, and aiming the camera using my phone is easy. I opted for a SanDisk Max Endurance microSDXC card due to the card's ability to function under high temperatures. The unit sits unseen behind my rearview mirror and within the 5 x 5 square permitted by California.

Perfect works with DSLR controller app for Android so much better with out wires. Is slow with image review but almost same speed at times with usb cable.

So far I've been very impressed with the image quality of this camera. It has a solid feel to it which to me speaks to the build quality. Overall it's a pretty darn good point and shoot camera. I would definitely recommend it. And just a slight heads up for Android users using Android 12; since upgrading my phone to Android 12, I and others have had connection issues between the camera and the Canon Camera Connect app. This is not a knock on the camera, rather it is an issue the app developer needs to fix.

As you know filters help with image quality during the day. I was in search of filters for my new GoPro Hero 9 and decided to go with the Freewell 4K series. I'm glad I did, they are well built, and do exactly what I bought them for. I would highly recommend. - JM
