I have owned the SX70 since it first came out. It replaced my SX50. The images I get of birds and other animals from great distances is incredible with the 1350mm zoom. And I can further crop to see great detail. On the other end of the spectrum, I have taken images of extremely small insects on flowers and gotten outstanding results. I am very happy with the results. The coyote, raven and tarantula hawk images were taken with 1350mm zoom and then cropped. The image of the Longhorn Flower beetle was also zoomed in (not 1350mm) and cropped. 5 |

This lens truly is fantastic. Im attaching a couple of un-cropped images shot a f/1.2 (one inside really closeup, one outside for more of a 3/4 portrait with rider and horse). I couldnt see any vignetting or distortion in either one. It also performs superbly at apertures throughout - Ive been pleased with images shot from f/2.8 through f/16. Im one of those who feel that 35mm is closer to what I see than 50mm - and I love the RF35 for its light-weight, unobtrusive characteristics. But this 50mm gem is just a great lens for someone who wants a walk around focal length that can also hold its own when it comes to portraiture. It is fast to focus, quiet, renders beautiful color, saturation, detail and bokeh. Yes, it is somewhat heavy, but it didnt bother me to carry it during a four hour event (part of which was shared with its 24-105mm sibling). For the image quality that this glass delivers, the weight is appropriate and the balance on the EOS-R is a pleasure. Recommended. 5 |

I use this with my 60D and find that it is my go-to lens for everyday use. The images are sharp and with a cropped frame camera I get the majority of the scene in my photos. I have also used this photographing my children in our little studio and it works really nice for getting full body shots and action shots too. Focuses maybe a little slow, at least when photographing the kids, but I just switch to manual then and have no problem. Definitely a great alternative if you can't afford the f1.4 like me! 5 |

I had been using a Nikkor Z DX 50-250 with my Z6ii. The images were ok, but with the cropped sensor, I wasn't getting the full capability of the camera. My first use of the Tamron 70-300 was shooting my great-niece's soccer game. I'm a totally inept sports photographer, but even so this camera/lens combo captured some very good images- bright and sharp subjects, with properly blurred backgrounds. Considering my lack of experience, excellent results from this lens! 5 |

Sony has put the best image sensor (although cropped from full size) and manual camera / video control into a smartphone. If you're a camera power user and are familiar with alpha cameras then this is the phone to get. Build quality The glass back and front and metal frame feel premium and is grippy. You get to keep your sd cards and headphone jack. Manual video and camera shutter button with integrated lanyard loop into the frame. Screen quality Very nice. Not the brightest but amazing clarity. But beware not nearly everything will run in 4K. Operating system Very vanilla android experience. You either love it or hate it. 5 |

Works well and covers the full frame on a cropped censor. You have to get very close to subjects to get any meaningful image but the result is nice and get be even nicer after you straighten it a bit in post-prod. 5 |

DIFFERENT AND MUCH BETTER I show you a test done to the lens, with different focal lengths and an approximation of the cropped image. Thank you 5 |

Just like every one else, loving it. Sharp, sharp and sharp. I attached an 1.4TC and cropped at least 50% from this image, still have decent quality. 5 |

Weighty, but not too heavy. At full zoom, it is a little soft, though when I compare it to a cropped/enlarged image of the same scene with my Zeiss 24-70 at 70mm, the 240mm image is better. It has a good firm zoom, which I appreciate as other zooms that I have had creeped. Not the fastest at focus, but you are buying a super zoom, not a prime. This may not be the pinnacle of zoom lenses, but it is certainly worthy of the price and the convenience of an all around lens. 5 |

6 months in. use more for video than stills. only gripe is the cropped image in 4k . the sturdy camera feels good in the hand. I dont mind weight as use tripod most of the time. the focus is very good even though the mark 3 is out now. its still worth the money but not almost the price of the mark 3 might as well get that for the few hundred more . the upgrades are work extra. but this is still a fantastic camera. use it daily and love it. only gripe is batteries and charger are very expensive if need to replace it. 5 |
