Excellent home WiFi camera at a great price The Lorex Indoor WiFi Network Security Camera is an excellent camera from many perspectives. Design and Look-This camera has a great modern look and is small enough to place almost anywhere. Video Resolution and Quality-The 1080p resolution provides great quality video where every detail is shown including faces even when zooming the screen. Night Vision-The night vision is very clear with faces easy to make out. Field of view-Due to the wide angle lens, the field of view is really good since you can see the whole room instead of just part of it. This alleviates the need to be able to pan. You can also zoom within the image to get closeups if items or people in the image. The included SD card is nice. It is adequate since the recordings write over the oldest ones so the card does not get full and lose recordings or events. Person Detection-This feature works well except it does sometimes pick up my dog as a person. Overall this is an excellent purchase if you want a stand-alone camera that dies not require a DVR or cables except a power cord.

I can finally take pictures of my kids at the park without them making funny faces. Image Stabilization is wonderful.

The autofocus is greatly improved without pulsing and hunting it can track faces with confidence. Also the dynamic range has been greatly improved and the image quality is dramatically improved in color science and jpeg rendering I would say they fixed all the shortcomings of the GH5 with the same dependability. If you are on the fence about upgrading buy this camera now it is amazing how they used the same sensor but with the new rendering processor have improved the image quality and usability greatly.

I finally upgraded from my old SX50, on which the viewfinder was long defunct and the overall image quality seemed to be deteriorating. I do a lot of bird photography, so lots of the features of the SX models are irrelevant to me (faces - like birds have faces!), but I'm finding the autofocus on the SX70 is doing a great job most of the time. I had a few glitches with overall set-up out of the box. For example, there's no mention of what the diopter is for in the manual - and it turns out it was critical for using the viewfinder. Similarly, it was sometimes tricky to figure out how to change some of the default settings (e.g., having the camera always pause to display after taking a shot - not good for birds either), but I think I'm got all that sorted out for now.

My go to filter when I don't want a drastic shift to my look. Its just enough to smooth out faces while still leaving most of the image looking normal.

This is my second C920s webcam. It has great features and a beautiful image. It's basically plug & play right out of the box, with one major exception. I immediately realized that the image is reversed upon plugging the webcam in. Why the default image is reversed kind of blows my mind. There were no directions on how to reverse the image. I went on the Logitech website and searched for a solution. Nada. I searched Google, too. All the solutions were complicated and convoluted. I ended up downloading 2 or 3 programs that didn't solve my problem. Since this is my second C920s, I went back to my first installation of this webcam on my other PC. The image was right on. So, I checked and I have a program called Logitech Capture. I checked its settings, and sure enough, under the Source 1 settings there's an Advanced Settings slider. Sliding that to On opens up another set of settings. One of them is horizontally flip source. Checking that check box flips the image to the proper point of view. Why Logitech would reverse the default image is beyond me. And, why they don't provide instructions on how to flip the image is crazy. Anyway, just downloading this simple (free) program from the Logitech website solves the issue. All is well. I'm very happy with the webcam now.

As you know filters help with image quality during the day. I was in search of filters for my new GoPro Hero 9 and decided to go with the Freewell 4K series. I'm glad I did, they are well built, and do exactly what I bought them for. I would highly recommend. - JM
