On my mac mini 2018 with a 4k monitor, I swapped an HDMI to HDMI cable with this thunderbolt to displayport cable. Huge difference! Before, the entire display was sluggish and unresponsive. Now, the picture is sharp, and the UI is smooth and responsive. 5 |

This 32GB kit is working great in my Mac Mini 2018. I've had no problems whatsoever. It's much cheaper to go this route than buy a mini with more RAM in it from Apple … even if you pay B&H to do the install. It is possible to install these yourself by following the videos available online (OWC or Youtube), but it is a fairly involved process that includes disconnecting and reconnecting some pretty small connectors in some tight spaces. The process took me about 30 minutes. 5 |
