Nice 4K monitor for the price. I am using displayport at 60hz.

The difference between 60Hz and 144Hz is staggering and I can't recommend this monitor enough for anyone who wants to get a better monitor for gaming.

I bought this cable to take advantage of the 120hz monitor refresh rate. HDMI only goes to 60hz.

Purchased monitor for a new rig. Great upgrade from existing 60hz, no more motion blur! You'll see the difference right away. Great bang for the buck.

First be sure to get the IOGEAR DisplayPort 1.4 Male Cable to get 60hz refresh rate. A standard HDMI will only give you 30hz and the monitor will feel sluggish and pixelated. Second, wow, what a bargain. I bought this monitor for photo editing and I'm blown away with the clarity, color, and vibrancy. Albeit, it was a big upgrade from my 10 year old monitors, but I really couldn't ask for anything better. I even played a few games that ran smooth as butter. I might even buy a second one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first monitor with adaptive sync. I had a 60hz monitor prior to this. I am extremely impressed so far. This is perfect for gaming on my pc and meets my price point.

I'm actually using this screen as a second monitor with my PC. I wanted a high resolution, small format screen to watch videos, youtube, to take notes on when I work on my main screen, and everything else you use a second computer monitor for. I wanted a SUPER bright screen and this one has to be one of the best. What is great is that you can easily adjust the brightness and volume with a quick swipe of your finger. It is also a touchscreen, so I have that functionality as well. I have an amazing main monitor, so I didn't want an additional large screen to take up space on my desk. After researching everything on the market, this little guy had everything that I wanted. My only wish would be if they made the refresh rate 120/144hz instead of 60hz, but I will keep an eye out for that in the future. For my purposes, the 60hz works just fine and only a hardcore gamer would be able to notice a difference. The screen does get hot, but it is to be expected with how bright this thing gets. Overall, this is exactly what I needed and I'm very happy with it. For those of you who were thinking of using this as an additional monitor for your PC, just grab a 12v adapter from some other device you have laying around the house and go for it! Ohh yeah, I do hear it works great connected to a camera too, if you are into that kind of stuff ; )

This does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I have a 4K Ben Q monitor and a 2015 MacBook Pro that I have running in another room because of fan noise in my studio. I have an optical thunderbolt cable but couldn’t get 4K 60hz at the tail end of my Thunderbolt Daisy chain. No cable would allow me to get 4K at 60hz at the distance I needed. The longest cable run I could do was 6ft or so and that was unreliable. I got a very short DP cable run directly into the repeater and then I ran a 25ft display port cable outside the room and tacked it to the wall. Works perfectly. Make sure you have the shortest possible cable running directly to this box from the source. This is a great solution and doesn’t require you to spend $350+ on optical cabling that dies after a couple years because the lasers and sensors overheat.
