Use these for running lavs receivers into a mixer/recorder. No problems, but you have to be aware that it doesnt work for some devices depending on mono/stereo issues. For example this doesnt work to run a Sennheiser G4 RX unit into a single XLR input- that requires a stereo mini to split XLR channels.

Sony’s 3d sound is crazy. It does what it says. My room is not perfect for speaker placement. After the room calibration and answering a few questions on distance. I’m at the center of the room. This has all the power to dive my 5.2.2 setup. I have plans to expand and I know it will handle everything I throw at it. Thank you B&H for putting it on sale for the short time you did. In this era of stereo audio it is difficult to find a quality set of double earphones that are designed specifically for monaural. I bought a pair of these to mount large-diaphragm microphones in stereo for recording nature audio soundtracks. These are of good quality - sturdy, but not too heavy. I was able re-configure the provided mounting brackets and hardware to create a double-ended stereo boom, setting the mics about 4 feet apart. This double-ended boom with a mic on both ends sit atop a camera tripod for recording live nature sounds in the field.

I bought the beats studio wireless for double the price. After reading reviews and suggestions from coworkers, I bought these. They sound exactly the same but the Mh50X are lighter. The only advantage of the beats was that it is wireless. Even that has its own pros and cons. But this is great!

I read reviews that suggested that for the price, these are good mics. Yikes, at double the price, these would still be good mikes for the price. Great for starters, fantastic as a set for interviews

I have read other reviews that underestimate the quality and security of this clamp. There is a double locking mechanism built in. To loosen you first untwist the knob. Then you pull on the knob to separate the clamp to remove from the lens. Perhaps I missed it, but I wasn't aware of this feature. This double locking feature really improves the chances that you can remove the clamp without dropping your lens. That to me makes it worth the high price.
