Rich Music Recording Studio

I bought this microphone for my project recording studio needing something affordable with a warm rich tone. I was not disappointed. The V67G has a FET preamp inside the body and it has a very tube-like nature to it; the harmonic content is rich but not in an obtrusive way. The bass proximity effect is a little over-powering at times, but by simply using some bass roll-off in the EQ stage of the channel strip can help that. The looks of the microphone are impressive as well - I think my clients will appreciate that as well as the tone of the recordings through it. I've so far used it on vocals only but I definitely see myself using it on acoustic guitars as well. This particular model was not billed as being able to handle high SPL very well, so I might not go to the extent of using it to mic my 4x12 cab but it's primarily designed for vocals. The price is incredible and well within reach of any studio budget, large or small. 5 |

We use this mic for studio recording doing product reviews for our company. The sound quality is so rich and amazing I no longer need to use eq filters when editing the video/sound. It is also easily concealed in my shirt button loop and I no longer need a clip or tape. 100% worth the money and we would recommend this to everyone! 5 |

i use these for my commute. they are clearly designed for studio recording use, but they have noise isolation, so even when i'm not listening to music, i still don't hear noise on the train. they need a bit of stretching, but are pretty comfortable. a bit heavy for most people, but i like the weight, it makes them feel substantial. the cable stood up to my one year old biting it, very strong. and while its not necessary for music enjoyment, the mono/stereo switch is fun to play with and gives you an appreciation of what goes into making a track. 5 |

For anyone passionate about composing and recording music at home, away from a commercial studio, this product is ideal. There are 4 XLR / 1/4'' inputs with preamps, and the interface also has 48V phantom power so mics can bus power from the device itself. I was used to just running directly into my computer and having this interface made a world of a difference. A musician friend actually turned me onto it. I can have bass, guitar, synth, and microphone all connected at once, with zero noticeable latency. Also, the connection and the quality of the audio I record is pristine. I would recommend this project to anyone and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. 5 |

I like to listen to the original recording. So I think popular studio monitor is the best because this is how's the music was sound when produced. Other than a studio monitor the sound is altered in some way. I used to have a sony mdr-v6. 7506 is a little brighter. I like the the sound. The clamping is a little strong. Hopefully it will loosen up over the time. Overall this is one of a few low cost audiophile headphone! 5 |

These headphones, for the money you spend, are a very good investment for any audiophile. I use them for listening to both digital and analog (tape and LP's) music as well as watching Television late at night. For music, being an open back design, they really shine. The open back allows one to really open them up and when you do they are just a real treat to listen to. For studio recording I would say go with a closed back style to prevent sound bleed. But for playback at the console they are an excellent choice. I have pushed these up to about 55 watts rms and the open back prevents the damage to your ears that a closed back would do. I would recommend them to anyone that's on a budget because in my opinion there's nothing on the market that will rival them. They are comfortable, require a short break in period and the sound reproduction is excellent plus there's no thump, thump, thump of an over compensative xtra Bass feature. I play these flat. I am a studio engineer and know that before a recording is released the mix has gone through alot and is as good as the engineers and producer wanted so I feel that xtra bass is just a way to mess up a good mix. 5 |

A music producer I know recommended Adam A7x7's for my home recording studio. I had been using the classic Yamaha NS 10M studio monitors and always thought they were awful ( even though I knew if I could make something sound good on them, it would sound good on any speakers). I also did a lot of comparative research, which also convinced me to go for the Adam AX7x7s. Glad I went with them. They are great and I couldn't be happier. 5 |

So happy with this purchase! I was looking for something to purchase for a music program I'm starting with a non-profit that wouldn't break the bank, this was exactly what I needed. Where we are recording is not ideal, but it's a start and I needed something that would help in some of the noise coming from the room next to our studio. This is just perfect! The kids, (they are adults, but to me they are my kids) love it as well. I wanted them to feel like they were in a real recording studio and this helps in giving them that. Built quality is great and I especially like the adapter that allows you to only need one stand, unlike the one I have at home where I have one stand for the mic and one for the reflector, since we are on a super small budget this really helps eliminate the need for another stand. 5 |
