Ring Doorbell Camera Live View Not Working

Works as advertised. I use mine to monitor my new ring doorbell camera.

Seems to be working great I can now hear the doorbell. Ii rings three times and you can pick your ring. Have just had it for a week. Wish I had it earlier.

I had ring doorbell twice and had issues so decided to try Nest doorbell. I installed it myself and started working as a charm. No issues at all. Takes up little space, app is user friendly. I can monitor my home from anywhere in the world and communicate in real time. Very reliable. Nest need to improve response time as by the time we get alerts delivery men are already gone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the Ring 2 for multiple years and our least favorite part about it was the live view connection. We were very hesitant to upgrade to the Ring 3 because we were worried we would have the same issues. Luckily, the live view works much more seamlessly on the Ring 3 and is quicker to open in the app. Other features that felt improved on the Ring 3 are the motion sensing. The ring 3 is super motion sensitive, so we had to dial back the settings quite a bit. The Ring 2 wouldn't detect motion until it was very close, and sometimes even then it wouldn't. The response time from doorbell press to device notification and connection seem to be much improved as well. Highly recommended!

I ordered my Ring Doorbell about six weeks ago and am very happy with it.

When using Live View or just checking the sharpness of your last capture, getting a clear view of your camera screen is essential. Amazing difference using the HoodLoupe. Highly recommended.

The new camera came as a bundle with an ethernet cable made up. I was adding a doorbell camera and another view of the side of the house, so I had two extra ethernet cables already pulled, and did not use the new one. The camera looks different than my existing, which are a few years old, but mounted easily. I made up the ends of the two cables I was now placing cameras on, and both the relocated and the new camera came up right away on my monitor. No issues!

The live view is a little laggy, but overall an amazing product, when working on self portraits the overall quality of the images have greatly improved due to this, the focusing and adjustments through my phone has made life so much easier.
