Ring Floodlight Security Camera Keeps Turning On Lights

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Eufy Security Floodlight Cam 2 Pro setup is quick and easy compared to the other cameras I’ve set up in the past. The instructions are clear, and the hardware you need comes in the box. Once it’s set up, you use an app to control your camera, its LED lights and can customize other settings. What I really love about this camera is the video quality during both the day and at night. Not to mention, you can pan and tilt the camera 360-degrees. It’s incredible!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love how this product has both a LED floodlight and a 360-degree 2K security camera. My family lives in a secluded area and the light has come in very handy since it's so dark here. I like that I can control the lighting through the app (the brightness and warmth of the light). The camera has made me feel much safer in my home, especially since I get alerts right through my phone. We were able to set the camera to follow the motion when it detects it and have the lights turn on. The video quality is very good. It's easy to make out people's faces and license plate numbers. Mounting the floodlight camera is quite easy if you already have a junction box on your exterior wall. We opted to mount ours under the eve of our roof, since we don't have an existing junction box on the siding, and run the power through the attic. It was easy to set up the new camera with the EufySecurity app on our phones. The camera has performed a couple firmware updates effortlessly from our phones. It notifies us that a firmware update is available when we open the app. It only takes a minute or two then tells you that the update was successful and brings you into the video like normal. Overall I'm very pleased with this floodlight camera. The video quality is great and the LED lights can be as bright as you could ever need. The only thing I would change about the system is the number of detection zones you can set from the phone app. It's limited to 2 zones currently and might not let you eliminate all the possible nuisance locations that could trigger false detections.

I love the effortless security I get while holding my camera with this! Keeps it safely and comfortably in my hand and easily removable if I want to use my other PD leashes... because I love them all!!

Really easy setup and connects to my wifi better than my former Ring floodlight. Picture is clearer and all the same functionality/notifications. Plus there is no annual fee for the service. This makes the 8th Lorex camera I've purchased and each one has been top notch.

I replaced our previous Digital Watchdog PoE cameras and a Ring floodlight with a Lorex system, upgrading to a floodlight camera. The wiring was easy to connect to the existing box and I liked that they supplied a hook to hang the lamp while connecting the wires. Syncing with the network took about 2 minutes. As with all our Lorex cameras, it just works. Simple and quick. My DW cameras were obsolete and could no longer be viewed from outside our home network. With the Lorex equipment I have great views on my phone from anywhere. The picture quality and viewing angle are superb. Highly recommend vs Ring, Eufy, etc.

Bought these because a friend had a lot of success with them. I was having delays viewing the live feed on my ring floodlight cameras. With this the delay is gone. Live feed is on within a second. Such a drastic change in signal strength all over.
