Super bright, good range with the spotlight focused, decent battery life. My coworkers are impressed and a bit envious by the amount of light this puts out. It does get a bit hot to the touch when using it longer than about a minute. If the tail cap lit up to show battery level like my XP11R does is the only upgrade I could see for such a powerhouse penlight. I'm considering picking up a second battery as I use it constantly throughout my work shift. 5 |

I want to know how much battery life I have left and the security of having an extra Sony battery. I know others have had positive experiences with non Sony batteries, however, I am unwilling to take a chance on getting a counterfeit battery from a third party. Also the price with B&H is much less than Sony and other places as well. 5 |
