Ring Weatherproof Security Camera

Very nice weatherproof box. Foam seal on the back and o-ring for the cover. This junction box provides a lot of weatherproof value for the money.

We built a new home two months ago and made Ring our security systems. It is so easy to use through out phones. We love to be able to check our door bell camera and back yard security camera when we are away. We live in a fairly seclude area now and the cameras and overall security the system offers us is very reasurring.

I use these to tighten my Schneider variable ND filter to the step down ring and then to my camera for added security. Works great won't damage your filters or adapters like a wrench will.

The box makes for a clean install and weatherproof also.

The Leica SD card holder is quite the luxury item. I toyed with the idea of purchasing one because I was fairly happy with my current weatherproof molded plastic holder that can store just about any available memory cards on the market. I rode the fence for quite some time because it seemed like such an expensive extravagance just to store several SD cards. After much dilly-dallying, I decided to pull the trigger, primarily because my camera only takes SD cards and the internal rubberized material of the plastic weatherproof case barely held the cards in placemany was the time I found the cards loose, or they'd fall out when i opened said weatherproof case. The Leica SD cardholder is, however, very nice to have. I've managed to stick a few business cards in with the SD cards. The back of the SD card holder does clean the rear LCD screen (or its protector) rather well. The leather has a quality feel about it, reminiscent of the proverbial comfortable shoe. I purchased the black one, and so far I haven't had any trouble fishing it out of my camera bag, even in dimly lit or dark venue situations.

It is small, light, weatherproof, and allows all the functions of the lens to pass through to the camera. No loss in sharpness, perfect focus!

This case does what it claims to do. I have others that use better materials and more weatherproof but not at this price. Simple put; if you want WEATHERIZATION for your camera wether tripod mounted or not this cover will give you the protection at an affordable price

My lens cap pops off frequently and my camera is not sand or weatherproof in any way. Since I wear it on beach walks, I got this filter for lens protection. It gets dirty every day. I am pleased that the Hoya works with lens solution and cloths that I've used for previous cameras. The liquid evaporates quickly. I can't see that the protection influences the photos in any way.

This weatherproof camera produces startling detail day or night throughout our cul-de-sac. It is triggered by motion and easily interfaces with our RAID array. We were able to achieve a high level of surveillance security at a modest cost.
