I've used this bag on two separate travel shoots now, and both times I've been able to use it as my "personal item" in addition to my roll-aboard carry-on suitcase, into which I fit my speedlights and my compact 26" Westcott Rapid Box along with a few changes of clothes. I tell you, being able to have a portable studio set-up (including a collapsing 8' lightstand and a 5' tripod) without having to check a bag is amazing!!! I would definitely recommend this bag for your smaller stands and tripods even if you're just wanting to store them together. I will certainly now just use this bag for my on-location work in and around New York City. Really pleased with the build quality, especially of the detachable strap and loops onto which it buckles. The outside pouch is also surprisingly spacious. There is also a movable velcro separator in the outside pouch. On the other side of the bag is a slot to stick your business card or a contact card if your bag is misplaced in transit or left somewhere. Ruggard's made a good product in this bag! I highly recommend it.

I bough this bag for college in 2018. Little did I know I'd keep the bag this long or that it would become my personal travel companion. I frequently fly across the US for work (think an average of 30 flights per year) and this bag has never let me down. No matter how much I stuff it, it fits in the personal bag checker at my chosen airline and allows me multiple days of clothing and supplies. No other bag compares. When I need to replace it, I will purchase another. It is truly waterproof and stain resistant. The only thing that has broken or shown wear is a plastic buckle that has broken an inner snapping point. I think metal buckles would be an upgrade, however, I plan to attach one myself to repair my bag. It does get heavy when full (as to be expected).

I have been on the search for a great travel bag for years!  I travel often with photography and always am searching for the perfect personal item bag to accompany my larger roller bags when I fly.  I had been using either a leather messenger style bag or just a regular backpack with a camera insert thrown in, but neither were a great solution.  The 21L PRVKE fits the bill for the personal item size, but still holds my basic equipment for flying or just day trips as a tourist.  After spending two full days walking around Montreal with this bag my back was happy with the support needed and I didnt have to compromise the gear I was able to take with me.   I love that I can access my camera without taking the bag off!  I highly recommend!
