It is great to be able to listen to music while out on the road and still be able to hear traffic. 5 |

I got this for my dad to use at little league games and to pass the time watching traffic. 5 |

I hadn't owned a portable navigation system in at least 10 years but I'm so glad I got one again. Bought it on a road trip where I was getting bad cell reception. Totally saved me!! Most people don't realize that your Google Maps and Waze apps on your smartphone don't connect with a satellite, they connect with a cell tower. So if you're phone reception is weak or non-existent you're going to be without navigation. Not only that but even when you do have reception the location beacon for Google Maps is often WAY off. Dangerously so. With the Garmin you never have to worry about any of that. It's accurate and precise. Great for rural areas! And great for people who travel off the interstates on a road trip! With the turn by turn navigation the voice tells you much more helpful instructions than you get in Google Maps or Waze! For example. At the 2nd traffic light, turn left, and then continue straight. Or In 500ft turn left at the Capital One. The traffic system works great and updates instantly in real time. Love the way it shows slightly sluggish traffic even if there's no accident or construction and shows free flowing traffic. Also it's really nice that there are no extra car attachments needed like with Sirius-XM for example. It's just the cigarette lighter power charger, the touchscreen device, and that's it. WELL worth $140. 5 |

Installed on campus road with traffic reaching 35mph, offset approximately 40ft and skewed and still grabs every plate that passes by without fail. Rain or shine, day or night this setup does not disappoint. 5 |

This speaker has been to countless games and has never failed us, we use it on the bus during practice and on the road, there is no speaker we’d choose over this 5 |

After my earlier review, I learned more about this excellent camera's 400-page online manual. Some reviewers have justifiably complained about how hard it is to search visually. But since it's a PDF, you can open it on your PC using the free Adobe Reader program, which has its own search field. This allows you to quickly scan the document for specific terms (as long as they match the terms used in the manual). But what about using it on-the-road? I just searched for and found the online manual through my iPhone. And when I opened it and touched one of its displayed pages, I was offered the option to load it as an iBook into the phone's library. This now enables me to search the entire PDF for anything I want, and to click on live (blue) links between its pages. That's WONDERFUL for using it on the road! 5 |

Initially, I was frustrated with my Zumo XT. I have owned several other Garmin GPS units, and the changes in software and problems with connectivity to my MAC were really frustrating at first. Now, I have developed a completely wireless process to transfer GPX files and their associated waypoints and points of interest to My Zumo XT through the use of Garmin Drive and Garmin Explore Apps. It took me some time to learn the new capabilities of the software and the quirks associated with the changes, but now, I love the use of Garmin Explore to manage collections and to choose what I display on the screen at any point in time. I use the XT for road riding, as well as off-road riding. I have dedicated mounts on my 2004 BMW R1150 RT, my 2006 Husqvarna TE610, and my 2017 Beta X-Trainer, as well as in my 2000 Land Rover Discovery and my 2004 Ford Excursion Diesel. The device performs all tasks I ask it to perform, from spoken Directions on Routes/Trip, to Track Navigation when off-road, to music streaming control, to phone call control when riding. It pairs with my Cardo Packtalk Edge, my Garmin In-Reach Mini 2, and my Iphone 13 Pro without issue. Can recommend the Zumo XT for any type of riding. 5 |
