I can spend more but it isn't going yo make me a better singer. I needed a mic for back-up vocal in my rock band. I replace a no name mic that was flat in the mix. Using as a multi-track home recording situation. I record multiple instruments(guitar, keyboards, synths, electric drums)live into garageband and everything sounds great. Only odd thing about it is that there's no power switch, but this is not an issue once you hook it up to an outlet with a switch. 5 |

Excellent! I have used this to record music (soft accoustic guitar & a loud rock band), field sounds (ocean, woods, bay, fire), vocal narration... and it all sounds fantastic. I play keyboards in a classic rock band and, up until now, I pretty much got buried in the audio mix. I decided to run the keyboards through the PA system with a monitor feed back to this Rolls unit and plug in my earbuds. It's got an onboard 9-volt battery, an optical limiter to protect my ears, and it's built like a tank. Great product, reasonably priced. 5 |
