Love the Rode NTG-1 Condenser Microphone. I use it with my Canon Mark 2 5 |

I am using the Rode VXLR+ to connect an inexpensive plug-in-power (condenser) lavalier microphone (with male TRS jack) to my (female XLR) microphone pre-amp on a desktop mixer. The main objective was to circumvent the built in mic on my laptop when I am on web meetings. All I can say is Wow! Everyone says I sound crisp, clear, loud without distortion, and there is no external distracting noise coming through. I used this setup to make a recording of my voice and I was floored. This is a high quality connector with robust input and output jacks and delivers. I expect this product to last a lifetime. As always, B&H ordering, follow through and delivery was fast and flawless. 5 |

The Rode NTG 2 became my outdoor mic to compliment my Oktava mod MK12 condenser microphone. It has performed well and with it's battery power, can plug right into my iPhone4 (with the right cable) for quickly recording some foley in a pinch. 5 |

I have a RODE NT-1 Condenser microphone, which is a very good microphone, with a very nice sound for human voices. However, I was having to use the NT-1 in a room that is not sound proof and the NT-1 is VERY sensitive to background noises. After much research I decided to order the Shure SM7B and I am very pleased. I combined the SM7B with a FetHead inline preamp feeding into my RODECaster Pro. The signal is very clean, dramatic drop in background noise pickup, and the SM7B has a superb sound for voices. Add in the form factor on a boom arm is much less intrusive in front of the face than the NT-1 with the pop filter in place is and it makes using the SM7B much nicer when the camera is turned on. All in all a very positive purchase, would not hesitate getting a second (or third) SM7B if I needed to do a multi person web cast, or recording. 5 |

I bought a I bought a Rode smartLav+ Lavalier Condenser Microphone for Smartphones and this plug was needed to connect the microphone to the smartphone. (I believe these plugs come with the Smart phones but who can remember where you put it?) Just buy it and make your life simpler. Recommend both of these items together. Great for video posts. Thank you B&H for your excellent suggestions. 5 |

This is a really good condenser microphone regardless of price. I'm so happy with the sound and the quality of construction that I don't think I ever need to upgrade from this. I know there're better microphones out there, but you really need to pay much more to get marginal improvements over this one. 5 |

Great microphone in good price. I usually use it for the trumpet, and it has a warm sound which is unusual for the condenser microphones in this price range. It also allow me to record little details such as articulations and dainamics. 5 |

I have bought several of these microphones throughout the years. I don't know another large-diaphragm condenser microphone with this price point that records as good audio as the NT-1. It has almost no noise to speak of. I pair it with a Scarlett 4i4 and the quality I get is incredible. Couldn't recommend this enough. 5 |

I was looking for a reasonably priced condenser microphone for videoconferencing and voiceovers, and found the GoMic not only priced, but added features not found in others in this price range. The Cardiod/-10db/omnidirection switch is very useful. It also has a built-in USB audio output if you want to plug headphones into it instead of the computer. It folds into itself so it can be safely transported in a pocket, and the clip is great for attaching to a laptop yet heavy enough to stand on its own. 5 |
