As a retired author with an interest in podcasting and an earlier career in broadcasting, I am thoroughly impressed with the Rode Podcasters professional sound quality and production ease. A former broadcast professional, like me (1970s network radio) or a retired amateur, like me, will be happy with this microphone. Not really a complaint but this Rode microphone is heavy. I ordered the Rode Podcaster microphone for mainly podcasting and radio interviews to be recorded at home. With the offer of the Kit that B & H offered it just made life easy for me. The mic stand by Auray is excellent, not just good. In fact, it seemed stronger than the Rode mic stand equivalent that I could have bought separately. I am so happy with this purchase and will continue to look to B & H for these kinds of Kits which are well thought out! 5 |
