Solid mic for sure with nice mids for speech vocals. Sounds quite different from the original Rode Lavalier, but I really like the low profile, which is similar to my Tram TR-50's, which I also love. I think the build quality on the Rode II may be slightly better than the Tram, which I keep repairing. That said... In my tests the original RODE sounds a little fuller on my acoustic guitar. I sing and play with a Lav attached to the top of my guitar for social posts, and will go back to the original RODE for that purpose alone. For a broadcast vocals the RODE II a winner though, and is now my go-to on that front. 5 |

Rather getting cheap Chinese shotgun microphone. it is better to spend more and get the Rode Microphone. Good Audio Quality with the Wind Dead cat it is perfect to start with 5 |
