This simple mic adapter allows you to use the Rode Wireless Go as an interview or presentation mic with very little cost. We recently used it at a workshop and the presenters loved it. And, no one knew that they were actually using our wireless mic set up. The handle and top make it intuitive and natural. Nice solution at a very economical (heck, I'll say it, cheap!) price! Bought this mic to try out after returning my Rode Video Mic Go, which i was rather unhappy with. I use it for these documentary pieces where i usually interview the person that stands about 3 to 6 feet away from me with the mic pointed into that direction. So far? this VideoMicro has exceeded my expectations. In my opinion, better performance than the GO. Not having to worry about the battery is awesome. Just plug it into your camera and go! Great build. Doesn't feel as fragile as i thought it would with the retail price i bought it at. Also comes with a windshield! which is great that you don't have to purchase it separately. Cons? haven't figured out too many as of yet. I'm on my 3rd interview with it and so far, so good...i mean. It does what it says. I'ma happy with it for now. It's better than the built in camera mic.

A must have cable to use with your Rode mics, because sometimes you need that cool 50mm 1.2 interview shot and the mic is not close enough to capture a good sound, so just use the cable to get the mic closer to the subject.
