I tried all types of workarounds to attaching a Rode VideoMic to my IPhone XR, and probably spent more money on off-brand cables in the process than what this cable costs. Don’t make my mistake, just get this cable from the start, you won’t regret it. 5 |

This is the same case I had for my IPhone 7 and purchased the same one for my iPhone XR. No regrets! This isn’t the bulky case like other otter box types can be but it’s just as protective. Had my 7 for a couple years and plenty of drops it never was damaged or had a screen crack. And I’ve had my fair share of screen and phone damage with other phones with different cases. I don't know much about this stuff but I record video on my iphone using the Rode Wireless Go and Rode Lavalier Go and my microphone would blow out sometimes when I talked louder. The rep at BH said this could fix that and give me slightly better sound quality. It seems to be doing exactly that as my mic isn't blowing out as hard as before. 5 |
