I am a big fan of RODE audio products so I trusted that this tiny microphone would work great for a portable mic kit to be used with my iPone 11. I was not disappointed. I have been using the outstanding RODE Videomic Go, but it is just too large a mic to take on the go. This VideoMicro sounds just as good. I am also very impressed that B&H sells it in a kit with the TRRS cable necessary for iPhone audio. (Something the other RODE resellers do not include.) 5 |

The Rode VideoMicro microphone is a great addition to any mobile video kit. The directional mic does really well with picking up your subject and filtering out ambient noise. The boom pole that comes with this kit is lightweight yet sturdy and is a great addition to the mobile kit. The cable that comes with the kit allows you to use the mic with the boompole. The cable works for cameras, but not for mobile phones. 5 |

I am using this for recording and live performance. I am a vocalist and flutist. This microphone allows natural singing by allowing you to stand a foot or more from it. It captures your voice without singing into the mic which can actually wreck your performance. I also have the Audio Technica ATM710 which has very similar qualities. The reason the AT2035 is a natural in live settings as well as in the studio is due to the fact that it is a cardioid mic. You will be surprised at the lack of feedback you will get on stage. I am very happy with this microphone. ps; I bought one for my son last Christmas.... After hearing how this mic transmits clear, full and undistorted vocals, I had to get one for myself! 5 |
