Rode Microphone Types

I've owned several types of microphone arms in the past, including a lesser version of the Rode. This arm is very stable. The wrap, which some have been upset by the overt branding, works great and doesn't bother me at all. Overall, this is a great solution and I'm happy with the purchase.

I believe the quality of both the Rode microphone and extension cord are worth the cost.

I have used this mic before as well as a few other types of shotgun mics for dslr's. This is comparable in quality of sound and construction to the Rode VideoMic Pro. Both are great mics and will make a huge difference in your audio capture. This one is slightly less expensive!
