Rode Microphones Near Me

I currently use several shotgun microphones such as Sennheiser ME-67 (long), ME-64 (short) and Rode NTG-4 (medium). In order to allow blimp use with the ME-67, I obtained this extension setup and have been pleased with its performance- it is equally effective with my original -design blimp and with the new Rode version. Fit is precise, and the included deadcat is a further plus. I feel that it is a very cost-effective way to let me use the shorter mics in one blimp and the long mic in the other. 5 |

It is so easy to use, and the quality of the recordings is fantastic. I have used it with Rode and Sanken microphones. 5 |

I'm a filmmaker that uses this mount in conjunction with the Sennheiser ME series microphones. It works beautifully, there is no noise created by the mount and it holds the mic securely so that I don't have to worry on set about my expensive microphones crashing to the floor. I love the knob compared to other models with a plastic handle that turns - feels much more sturdy. This thing is robust and does the job as it's intended. If you've already got an expensive microphone, protect it with this pistol grip. 5 |

Sennheiser makes great microphones, most already know this. The K-6 with ME 66 shotgun is one of these industry standards, but if you utilize the MZW 66 windscreen, you cannot fit it in the case that comes with the 66. The KC6 case carries it all and then some. It's a great addition to you gear locker and offers protection to the fragile foam screen. 5 |

I searched and narrowed down to the Rode NTG series (1,2,3) and the ME-66. My buddy said Sennheiser released this mic @ IBC 2012. Now, since it just came out at the time, I took a leap of faith from the word of mouth reviews like how warm it sounded compared to the ME-66 and bought it, not knowing what it would sound like. I'm glad to say this mic is amazing! The mic exceeded my expectations. Here are the benefits I found:- I can use this on a boompole and grab dedicated sound or it can be mounted onto a DSLR, which my team uses alot.- The price is really affordable considering it's a Sennheiser. The school provided ME-66 and were okay. I definitely can't afford a MKH-416 yet but working towards it. For now, the MKE 600 is a solid work horse shotgun mic for anything I need.- Battery power is a nice option to have.I use this mic with a Rycote Windshield #4, a Rode boompole (10ft), and record into a Roland R-44. I honestly think this is a worthwhile mic to get if you are starting out or looking for a solid shotgun mic. The mic is hotter than say the Rode NTG-2. The build is solid and I am very happy with it. Best investment I've made! 5 |

I have a Sennheiser ME-66 which is childs play compared to the Rode NTG-3 . The NTG-3 minimizes HVAC and room noise and sound incredible. It is as good as a lav if not better. Very rich sound. I would highly recommend this mic. 5 |

The RODE VideoMic Me-L worked as advertised - it was very easy to start working - just plugged it right into my phone - and it captures voices very well when in an appropriate room. Excellent for a quick pickup or other short pieces. 5 |

Easy to attach a Rode Wireless ME or GO transmitter, and a mic flag. Can sharpie or paint out Rode logo if you want. Feels good in hand and has nice weight/balance, light but not fly away or flimsy. 5 |
