Rode Nt1 Microphone Not Working

This thing is a tank.  I was looking for a desk stand for my Rode NT1 microphone and was worried about the weight tipping it over.  With the extra counter balance and heavier stand, this stand holds it perfectly.  I can extend it all the way out.  Very sturdy and well made. I would highly recommend.

Very stable when used with the Rode NT1 microphone assembled on the SMR shock mount. Despite not being heavy, the base is long enough towards the front to prevent the assembly from tipping forward.

I am an audiobook narrator and use this for my Rode NT1-A microphone in my personal professional studio. It was easy to assemble and is very sturdy, not flimsy like others out there. I like the height adjustable feature too. I highly recommend!

Got it for my Rode NT1 since it came with a soft cloth casing, this Pouch is much better for protection.

I'm working on a documentary film (my first) and to save money, I tried using a Zoom H1 with a Kel-Tec fuzzy windscreen to record audio for my film. Unfortunately in all but the lightest air the wind sound was disconcertingly loud. This is not the fault of the devices used--they simply are not meant to counter substantial wind. I finally had to raise the funds to purchase a good shotgun microphone, pre-amp, and this blimp, to get the results I was after. I am completely satisfied with the Rode Blimp. The B&H Signature edition is a nice black color, which looks even better than the original. The blimp is sturdy, simple, and effective. Rode thoughtfully provides a few different sizes of microphone holder, some extra rubber bands, an adjustment tool, a dead Wombat faux-fur cover, and a brush. I was even able to use a rather thick condenser microphone by jury-rigging the rubber bands. This worked quite well, allowing me to record environmental sounds. One of the best purchases I've made.
