Rode Ntk Microphone Shock Mount

This item is the perfect replacement for the stock shock mount that came with my Rode NT2 microphone. The elastics for the original mount dry rotted. The On-Stage mount is identical, but the elastics are better. Hopefully they will outlast the others...

Very stable when used with the Rode NT1 microphone assembled on the SMR shock mount. Despite not being heavy, the base is long enough towards the front to prevent the assembly from tipping forward.

I use it with vocals an acoustic guitars, usually with a Neumann TLM49 or Rode NTK.I love the warmth of the tubes in the preamp. The eq is outstanding. The compressor section is very nice, but a little tricky because the attack and release times are a little bit slow and tends to sound too transparent. I compress a lot the vocals and bass and I really like the sound of the optical compressors. If you are good sound engineer an musician, Youll love it.

I bought B&H's Rode NT-USB Mini USB Microphone Kit with Broadcast Arm and Closed-Back Headphones (BH #RONTUSBMINIB) and was fairly happy with it, but wanted to reduce sound transmitted through the desk-mounted arm. It seems that most shock mounts hold the barrel of the microphone, but the Rode NT-USB mini is a rectangular block rather than a cylinder. It bolts into this mount just fine though. The reduction in sound conducted through the arm is very noticeable. I don't have experience with other shock mounts to compare to, but this works better than I expected.

I use this to hang Rode microphone shock mounts upside down. Given that it's basically a bent pipe, I'm sure there are other fine uses for it. Handy to have.

I ordered this for the RODE NTG3B and its such a good shock-mount! I accidentally bumped my arm on the mic stand where the shock-mount is located and I did not hear a thing on my shotgun mic. Its worth every dollar and its very useful and also way more easier to put the mic in the shock-mount compared to the stock mount of the NT3GB. 10/10 Highly recommended

Great shock mount for my shotgun mic. Fits the Rode NTG2 perfect on a boom pole or mic stand. DeadCat - Windscreens no problem. Sturdy, quiet gets the job done.

I bought the boom arm to go with my Rode Mic and shock mount to set up my at home studio for a new podcast! It comes in handy! It’s sleek and just what I needed! Thank you!

Rode delivers with the NT3, crisp clear audio with low noise. I use it for recording DSLR dialogue and the cardioid pattern means I don't have to be super critical with aiming it. I use Neutrik connectors which do lock into the NT3, just give them a push, for a secure XLR connection. I mount it into an Audio Technica AT8415 shock mount, if it slips a bit in the vertical, I wrap a rubber band around the mic shaft to offer some purchase to the shock mount bands, keeps it secure. 4 stars due to weight, 5 stars for sound.
