I ordered the Rode Podcaster microphone for mainly podcasting and radio interviews to be recorded at home. With the offer of the Kit that B & H offered it just made life easy for me. The mic stand by Auray is excellent, not just good. In fact, it seemed stronger than the Rode mic stand equivalent that I could have bought separately. I am so happy with this purchase and will continue to look to B & H for these kinds of Kits which are well thought out!

We use the Rode Podcaster USB mic for producing short videos about our software products, and the quality of the voice recordings is vastly improved over our previous efforts. The Podcaster is perfect and was so easy to set up and use that I almost couldn't believe we had done it correctly . . . but it worked great on our very first try! I highly recommend this mic.

I have a Shure MV7 and although is a fine microphone. The Revelator Dynamic USB Microphone shows an amazing sound out of the box. I 100% recommend it for the price.

I was using the AT2020 and it's a great mic but the problem with it is that it would pickup so much of the room causing me to work harder editing my voice overs. I wanted a mic that was a dynamic mic so I would have to talk into the front of it to get my voice and be less likely to pickup anything else. The RODE Podcaster is that mic. Did I mention I wanted it to be a USB mic. I know you can do so much more with XLR mic's but for what we do a really good USB mic does the trick beyond well. The RODE has a builtin pop filter or at least most dynamic mic's do but I would still invest in getting a third party one as I noticed it truly helps out the audio. It's hard to find a good one for the RODE so to make things easy for you all the one I'm using is the BSW RE320POP in black. It's perfect for this mic.

I purchased this with the Rode NT-USB Mini microphone and they function beautifully together. I had returned another company’s boom arm that was too stiff to be functional. This works great, is sturdy and is especially good for a limited space. Great flexibility and a good price.

I bought B&H's Rode NT-USB Mini USB Microphone Kit with Broadcast Arm and Closed-Back Headphones (BH #RONTUSBMINIB) and was fairly happy with it, but wanted to reduce sound transmitted through the desk-mounted arm. It seems that most shock mounts hold the barrel of the microphone, but the Rode NT-USB mini is a rectangular block rather than a cylinder. It bolts into this mount just fine though. The reduction in sound conducted through the arm is very noticeable. I don't have experience with other shock mounts to compare to, but this works better than I expected.

This is a great microphone. It does not require an audio interface. Simply plug it to your computer through USB and there you go! It also has an option for monitoring with zero latency. The default microphone sound level is too quite for my listeners. So, I use peace + equalizer combo software to adjust its dB output level (+18dB). I compared to my Rode Mini USB condenser microphone. Q2U had a more natural sounding and rich audio. Rode mini USB sounded little dull (or muffled). However, Q2U has much more ambient noise which requires more editing time at post production. As a teacher, I do not have extra time for that. So, I prefer Rode mini USB for my lecture recordings and I may use Q2U for broadcasting where recording is not a priority. Finally, this info can be useful to some: Q2U doesn't work with Notability on iPad Pro (3rd Gen), Rode Mini USB does.

I bought this Rode WS2 windscreen for my Audio Technica AT2020 USB Plus microphone and it fits perfectly. Just what I needed and priced reasonably. Also, B&H Photo ships fast!
