This microphone stand is sturdy and is perfect for my Rode Podmic. I was concerned but I am glad I purchased this stand, worth the money. Stable product.

As a retired author with an interest in podcasting and an earlier career in broadcasting, I am thoroughly impressed with the Rode Podcasters professional sound quality and production ease. A former broadcast professional, like me (1970s network radio) or a retired amateur, like me, will be happy with this microphone. Not really a complaint but this Rode microphone is heavy. Sturdy, but heavy.

I ordered the Rode Podcaster microphone for mainly podcasting and radio interviews to be recorded at home. With the offer of the Kit that B & H offered it just made life easy for me. The mic stand by Auray is excellent, not just good. In fact, it seemed stronger than the Rode mic stand equivalent that I could have bought separately. I am so happy with this purchase and will continue to look to B & H for these kinds of Kits which are well thought out!

A good thick windscreen that I use for the Rode Podmic

I bought the pro version to go with the very heavy Rode PodMic, and they work well with each other. They improved this model with cord management with clips on the top of the arm (you don't have to try and wiggle it through the neoprene sleeve). I actually like the RODE logo because my mic is also RODE, and it looks sharp...but that's a personal style issue. Functionally, it's great arm. It fits my 5' wide desk perfectly, a 6' cord to the middle of the desk works fine, and the clamp is much sturdier than other cheaper arms I looked at.

If you know, you know. This microphone is the best you can get. I use it for podcasting as well as some video work. Invest in your equipment.

This is my first boom arm and it's paired with a Rode Podmic. After reading reviews and watching YouTube videos, I happy I went with this model. It's sturdy and I love the cable management. Would recommend.

I purchased this to hold the Rode podmic (which weighs a pound). I had no issues with it and the boom arm held the mic with no problem. I was able to move it around while recording and had no extra noise associated with the boom arm. I would highly suggest spending the money for this boom a.
