Rode Procaster 2 Microphone

I purchased the Rode Procaster along with the Rode PSM1 Shockmount for my congregation at church. Our Minister gets a little animated at times and has a habit of thumping the podium with his palm to make a point. I'm pleased to say this is no longer picked up by the mic.

The windscreen definitely made a difference in my recordings with the Rode Procaster. It handled plosives nicely and helps cut out some of the undesirable background noise

This PSA1 Studio Boom Arm works exactly as expected partnered with my Rode Procaster mic. I absolutely love it and would recommend it for a heavy mic setup.

RODE makes awesome products, this one is a must if you have the RODE Podcaster or Procaster. In my opinion is it the best way to mount these microphones on to a boom arm.

I use this with the rode procaster. it's the shock mount that will fit it as it a very bulky mic. The shock mount is very good at isolating the mic. It also adds a good amount of weight to an already bulky mic. This is good because the rode retractable studio arm I am using with the combo needs weight to counteract its rather heavy spring action.
