I purchased the Rode Procaster along with the Rode PSM1 Shockmount for my congregation at church. Our Minister gets a little animated at times and has a habit of thumping the podium with his palm to make a point. I'm pleased to say this is no longer picked up by the mic. 5 |

The windscreen definitely made a difference in my recordings with the Rode Procaster. It handled plosives nicely and helps cut out some of the undesirable background noise 5 |

I use this with the rode procaster. it's the shock mount that will fit it as it a very bulky mic. The shock mount is very good at isolating the mic. It also adds a good amount of weight to an already bulky mic. This is good because the rode retractable studio arm I am using with the combo needs weight to counteract its rather heavy spring action. 5 |
