Rode Smart Lavalier Plus Dynamic Microphone

The Rode Lavalier Mic picks up your voice exceptionally even just using with my smart phone. It blocks out some background noise depending on the volume of the background noise. All in all was very satisfied. The only negative is the exceptionally short wire. I had to go and buy the extension cable so I am not restricted to such a short distance from the camera.

I am using the Rode VXLR+ to connect an inexpensive plug-in-power (condenser) lavalier microphone (with male TRS jack) to my (female XLR) microphone pre-amp on a desktop mixer. The main objective was to circumvent the built in mic on my laptop when I am on web meetings. All I can say is Wow! Everyone says I sound crisp, clear, loud without distortion, and there is no external distracting noise coming through. I used this setup to make a recording of my voice and I was floored. This is a high quality connector with robust input and output jacks and delivers. I expect this product to last a lifetime. As always, B&H ordering, follow through and delivery was fast and flawless.

I don't know much about this stuff but I record video on my iphone using the Rode Wireless Go and Rode Lavalier Go and my microphone would blow out sometimes when I talked louder. The rep at BH said this could fix that and give me slightly better sound quality. It seems to be doing exactly that as my mic isn't blowing out as hard as before.

Whether you have bought the Rode Smartlav+, the regular (but good) Rode Lavalier microphone, or the Rodelink kit for your DSLR, it is just too easy to lose or destroy the WS-Lav when switching out for the fluffy or whatever. It does work in reducing any pops etc., so having an extra one along should be standard. Works well, just be careful not to mistreat it - or lose it in the tall grass!

I bought a I bought a Rode smartLav+  Lavalier Condenser Microphone for Smartphones and this plug was needed to connect the microphone to the smartphone. (I believe these plugs come with the Smart phones but who can remember where you put it?) Just buy it and make your life simpler. Recommend both of these items together. Great for video posts. Purchased this headset to use with my Rode Lavalier microphone. Works well and holds microphone in place. I use for teaching yoga inside and outside.

I have both a SmartLav and a Rode Lavalier, and these have been indispensable.

We received the new Rode VideoMic Pro Plus microphone a few weeks back. I made some test-recordings, and also on live interview to date. Thankfully, the ProPlus was very easy to to setup and use the very first time. I'd (like others) don't have too much time to read into the details at first. We followed the Sony recommended setup for external mics, and it worked the first time-- like a charm. The auto-on, auto-off option is very helpful. All my extras on the Sony A6300 have to remember powering on that darn button.� Saves my batteries. I'd recommend the Rode VideoMic Pro Plus for all my friends!

I purchased this for my a7riii and a7siii (when it arrives) to use as a backup microphone to my Rode Video Plus. But once it arrived and I saw how small it was and how great it sounded, it became my go-to mic. Love this thing! It’s so small and with no wires, there’s no excuse to not bring it everywhere.

I bought this Rode WS2 windscreen for my Audio Technica AT2020 USB Plus microphone and it fits perfectly. Just what I needed and priced reasonably. Also, B&H Photo ships fast!
