Rode Video Microphone Apple Ios

Did not work on my iPhone with Rode software but works great with the Apple IOS software that comes with the phone. I like that it splits the audio channels allowing for more precise editing.

I used it to record video on iphone with Rode microphone. It works as described.

From the moment you unwrap the packaging and feel the microphone in your hand, just like an Apple product, you realize that you have something special from Rode. Quality extends to the mount, the connections and, finally the controls and results which are superb. I especially like the ability to use the mic direct to the usb of my laptop for voiceovers. I don't know much about this stuff but I record video on my iphone using the Rode Wireless Go and Rode Lavalier Go and my microphone would blow out sometimes when I talked louder. The rep at BH said this could fix that and give me slightly better sound quality. It seems to be doing exactly that as my mic isn't blowing out as hard as before.

I'm using this microphone with Nikon D7000 and Canon Video camera system. This microphone from rode help with the inputting sound and reducing the unwanted noise.

The Rode VideoMicro microphone is a great addition to any mobile video kit. The directional mic does really well with picking up your subject and filtering out ambient noise. The boom pole that comes with this kit is lightweight yet sturdy and is a great addition to the mobile kit. The cable that comes with the kit allows you to use the mic with the boompole. The cable works for cameras, but not for mobile phones.

This is a great camera for the money! The Rode mounted microphone is perfect for the video blogging I am starting to do. The picture quality is excellent, and the tracking during video is stellar! It enables me to start recording, sit back down and know that I will be in focus even when I move around. You can't beat B&H's customer service! They go over and beyond for their customers. I do customer service training for a living, and I wish I could take credit for their amazing abilities! Great experience, and I love this camera!
