This hotshoe adaptor attached to the Canon1DxMarkIII. Using a Sennheiser MKE 600 shotgun microphone. Having variable screw slots, to adjust for spacing and the overall length of the microphone, is an added bonus! Love it!

I bought this to go with my Rode VideoMic NTG Hybrid Analog/USB Camera-Mount Shotgun Microphone. I wish I had bought another just for my earbuds and headphones at the office.

If you think the Wireless GO was great well, the Wireless GO 2 is a must have for sure. Specially if you have other RODE mics and shotgun's. I use it with my VideoMic NTG and the NTG 500 as wireless devices now.

This is my first pro level shotgun that replaced my Rode VideoMic. I filming largely dog agility sports indoor as well as outdoor. Although shotgun are not really directional by design, NTG 3 serve my purpose very well up to 150 feet away from my subject. Buy a Rode Blimp for $ is a now brainer for someone waiting to invest in a good shotgun. Do it now. When my Blimp was delivered, its design, easy of use blew me away. I wonder how Rode make money for that price.... I will be testing NTG3 with its Blimp when weather is kind.

From a Kelby Training video I learned of the Rode shotgun Videomic and it solved the problem of noise from the camera and generally poor audio with the built in mike on a CanonT2i.Excellent VALUE!! They point out that there are cheaper ones, but ...Recommend, highly.

I purchased the Rode Stereo VideoMic Pro Rycote specifically to video record live local bands with my DSLR camera. The stereo mic in my camera worked fine but too often high frequency cymbal crashes would distort the audio. That problem has been solved with this new mic. Prior to buying this mic, I rented a Rode video shotgun style mic, but it was too directional. While panning across the stage, I would lose audio from either one bank of speakers or a guitar amp. So far this new mic is working out fine and I'm very pleased with it. Plus, it's more compact than a shotgun mic and fits nicely in my camera bag.
