With either a SC6 (Rode Cable) and SC7 (Rode Adapter) I was able to connect my headphone and VideoMicro Compact to my Iphone 6s+. Much more mobile and ready to do what I need to do. 5 |

Very happy with this purchase. The Rode VideoMicro has excellent build quality, and a very clean/crisp sound capture. I use it mainly on an iPhone 7 Plus rig, and it is perfect for indoor use. Have yet to use it outdoors. It's versatile in the way that I can use it on my desktop as a voiceover Mic or on my custom iPhone rig. The Rode VideoMicro microphone is a great addition to any mobile video kit. The directional mic does really well with picking up your subject and filtering out ambient noise. The boom pole that comes with this kit is lightweight yet sturdy and is a great addition to the mobile kit. The cable that comes with the kit allows you to use the mic with the boompole. The cable works for cameras, but not for mobile phones. 5 |

I bought the Rode Videomicro to use as an external microphone for my GoPro Hero 4+ Silver. It is an excellent mic at picking up sounds and voices directly in front of it; which is expected being a shotgun style. I highly recommend this microphone. 5 |
