Have always found LaCie to be reliable. With these be careful with order you plug cables in -- if go out of order you hear a clunking sound from drive, if do in order no problems. To reconnect/power up: 1) discount both USB cable and power cable from drive. 2) Next connect power cable to drive. 3) Then connect USB but first connect to drive, then to computer. Read this advice somewhere and it works. 5 |

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly. 5 |
