Roku Ultra 1000 Ethernet Adapter

This is my second Roku purchase. I chose the Ultra for 4K video support, TV controls, ethernet support, and headset support on the remote. It's easy to set up and use The large selection of channels supported makes it the best streaming device for my needs.

I've had many Roku streamers in my home for years now to eliminate the cable companies fees. The new ultra seems faster and offers a ethernet connection for strong internet speeds and no buffering. I may consider a Roku soundbar streaming if they offer a ethernet port. For now the ultra is great. I don't like the fights between Roku and streaming services. I am a customer who hate to see options dropped without warning.

I upgraded to the Roku Ultra from the Roku Express and I'm so happy I did. I LOVE the faster/more reliable ethernet connection to the internet, the fact that I can use the volume and on/off function with the Roku control and that I use the earbud/headphone jack on the remote all the time. It's also AWESOME that the remote is chargeable. Best buy this year!!

I've been happily using Roku for years. I like the Ultra best mainly for the ethernet port. It seems this model differs from last model only by the edition of the chargeable remote.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I have been trying out the ethernet, charger adapter and I have to say I didn't expect the speed to be much faster than it already was. I have the 1000/1000 speed and everything runs fast but when I tried this out videos loaded up in a matter of seconds plus I didn't lose any battery on my phone while watching a movie on it. The adapter connected easily, only taking a second to plug into my phone and the ethernet cable into the adapter using both at the same time. This adapter was just what I needed seeing how I watch a lot of videos on my phone.

This ethernet adapter works with Roku Streambar and you can just add hard wire connection and it works right away after hooked up. No setting required. Besides Roku, it works with most Android devices (with USB C PD passthrough hub) and Windows. It's basic, but it's pretty good due to perfect compatibility

I own several Roku units and the Ultra is the best.

This is my 3rd Roku Ultra and as usual, I am very please with it.
